The Savoy asked us to renew the decorative scheme across its full inventory of 267 guest rooms and suites — refreshing paintwork and replacing wallcoverings throughout — without closing the hotel or compromising the building's protected Edwardian and Art Deco character.
Every room was treated individually. We prepared and repainted walls, ceilings, ornate cornicing and joinery to a flawless finish, then hand-hung specialist wallpapers with precise pattern matching around panelling, the signature green Murano glass light fittings, and the deep river-facing window reveals.
Working in a live, five-star environment demanded a phased programme, rigorous dust and noise control, and immaculate handovers — each room returned to service indistinguishable from new, ready for the next guest.
