The Strand Palace — a landmark London hotel first opened in 1909 — underwent a comprehensive refurbishment and upgrade of its guest rooms and public areas, with main contractor Edgewater Contracts delivering the works across nine floors.
QPD delivered the painting and decoration package within the programme. Each room was prepared and finished to a consistent, high standard — walls, ceilings and joinery — coordinated around the wider fit-out of new finishes, joinery and services.
As with every hotel project of this scale, the building stayed open. Works were phased floor by floor so the hotel remained fully operational throughout, with each completed area handed back to a finish ready for guests.
